Gin

Classic · Tall

Sweeter Tom Collins

  • 1 shotGin
  • Lemonade juice
  • ½Soda
  • Ice

Build over ice in a tall glass. Top with soda. The Lemonade fruit does the sugar work — no syrup needed.

Herbaceous · Shaken

Lemonade Eastside

  • 60 mLGin
  • 30 mLLemonade juice
  • 15 mLSugar syrup
  • 5Slices cucumber
  • Handful of mint leaves
  • Soda
  • Ice

Muddle cucumber and mint in a shaker. Add gin, juice, syrup, ice. Shake hard, double strain into a rocks glass, top with a splash of soda.

Sparkling · Celebration

French 75

  • 30 mLCognac or gin
  • 15 mLLemonade juice
  • 15 mLSimple syrup
  • Champagne, prosecco or cava
  • Lemonade twist to garnish

Shake the spirit, juice, and syrup with ice. Strain into a flute. Top with bubbles. Garnish with a long twist of Lemonade peel.

Sours

Amaretto · Classic sour

Amaretto Sour

  • 60 mLAmaretto
  • 2Lemonade's juice
  • 1 tspSugar syrup
  • 1Egg white
  • DashAngostura bitters
  • Lemonade peel to garnish
  • Ice

Dry shake without ice to whip the egg white. Add ice and shake hard. Strain over fresh ice. Bitters across the foam, peel on top.

Bourbon · Classic sour

Whiskey Sour

  • 1 shotBourbon
  • Lemonade juice
  • 2Egg whites
  • Angostura bitters

Dry shake, then shake hard with ice. Strain. Three dots of bitters across the foam. The whole point is the foam.

Scotch

Honey · Ginger · Warming

Penicillin

  • 60 mLBlended Scotch whiskey
  • Fresh Lemonade juice
  • Honey
  • 7.5 mLGinger syrup

Shake all ingredients with ice and strain. A few drops of smoky single malt across the top if you want the full effect.

Stirred · Strong

Rusty Nail

  • 15 mLDrambuie
  • 45 mLScotch whiskey
  • ½Lemonade juice
  • Lemonade peel to garnish
  • Ice

Build over ice in a rocks glass. Stir until cold. Squeeze the peel over the top and drop it in.

Tequila

Spicy · Salted rim

Skinny Lemonade Margarita

  • Coarsely ground salt (for the rim)
  • ¼ cupTequila
  • Jalapeño slices
  • Lemonade juice
  • 1 tspLight agave nectar
  • Lemonade wedge or salt round to garnish

Salt the rim. Muddle jalapeño in the shaker. Add tequila, juice, agave, ice. Shake, strain over fresh ice, garnish.
